Take the Plunge {and read it!}

Some time ago, Andrew stumbled across a website called The Plunge. It's essentially a wedding website that was created for guys. Yep, even the groom needs some pre-wedding advice sometimes!

Fast forward a couple months to today.

I had been reading this article from Cosmopolitan online that came up on my Yahoo homescreen. It's called Confessions of a Wedding Planner: 5 Signs a Marriage will Fail. One of the points the article spoke about was when the bride hides going over budget from the groom.

Here's a conversation that played out between Andrew and myself just a few hours ago.

Me: Hun, I have a confession. I went WAY over budget on flowers when I finalized florals a week ago.

Him: How over budget?

Me: Like 400 dollars over budget.

Him: I think flowers was one of the catergories that website The Plunge told me to let slide. Let me check... (pulls out his laptop) Yep! It says for me to not get upset about how much the flowers cost.

Uhh... really? And with that, I think all brides should have their grooms read The Plunge! They even have a blog, which addresses some really useful topics such as Romantic, non-suckish proposal ideas and how to control the sloppy groomsman.

So basically it's a site, made by women (brides) [bridezillas??], used to brainwash grooms into thinking like them. That's actually kinda scary... {checks it out...}

Okay, I take it back... It's a pretty entertaining website. Not sure it's totally pertinent to me, per se, but, it's definitely interesting. I did learn that I need to make a toast at the rehearsal dinner. Hmmph...
